Don Beltrán tries to get his son to marry before the truth about his son’s glaring fault comes to light. While his father is trying to find a suitable lady for him, Don García finds one on his own, a certain “Lucrecia,” or is it a certain Jacinta? You’ll have a hard time keeping a straight face as you listen to Don García’s unending repertoire of far-fetched tales in this unbelievable theatrical gem from Spain’s Golden Age, filled with multiple twists and turns and mix-ups told in perfect rhyming verse.
